Water testing results in West Belle River Beach closed

Swimming is not recommended at the following beaches as E.coli counts are 200 or higher:

1. Belle River
2. Seacliff Beach
3. Point Pelee
4. Mettawas Beach
5. Colchester Beach
6. Holiday Beach

Warning signs are to be posted at these beaches.

Sandpoint Beach is closed because E.coli counts are 1000 and over. Beach closure signs/procedures must be followed.

The Health Unit will re-notify everyone, after resampling the closed beach.
