The Municipality of Lakeshore’s smoke testing program continues this week in the Amy Croft Drive area (east of Manning Road, west of West Pike Creek Road, north of County Road 22, and south of Via Rail tracks). The testing is scheduled to be completed by Fri. August 12.
Smoke testing (or fog testing) uses a white, non-toxic vapour to identify locations where stormwater is entering the sanitary sewer system. The process will help the Municipality identify problem areas and prioritize necessary improvements in both public and private systems.
