The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County officially concluded the 20th annual Face to Face Campaign September 30th, and this year the total raised was $107,530.00.
Over the last twenty years of the campaign over 1.5 million dollars has been raised, with funds staying right here in our community, and directly supporting our friends and loved ones.
Face to Face has supported our Fairley Family Transportation, providing much needed rides to medical appointments. New this year, it will also support Hospice in granting exceptional and impactful experiences to patients and their families through the G.E.N.I.E. Transportation Program.
“On behalf of myself and my family we are once again humbled by the generous support of our community. The initial ask of 10 friends each giving $10 has blossomed into 20 years of support for our Hospice, with all donations staying right here, in Windsor and Essex County” said John Fairley, campaign founder. “Thank you one and all for your kindness.”
The Hospice Face to Face Campaign runs annually from August 15th to September 30th, and in 20 years has raised over 1.5 million dollars for Hospice.
