LaSalle Firefighters, town staff, and community members mourned the passing of Robert “Bob” Price.

He was a former volunteer (part-time) firefighter with the LaSalle Fire Service from 1997 to 2008.

Bob’s dedication to the LaSalle Fire Service went beyond firefighting. He was instrumental in the department’s fundraising efforts, organized social events, and helped restore the LaSalle Fire Service’s antique fire engine. Even after his active service, Bob continued to volunteer, often attending emergency response scenes to capture photos for the department.

“Bob had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel like family. He embodied the true spirit of camaraderie and teamwork that defines the LaSalle Fire Service,” says Fire Chief Ed Thiessen.

“His contributions, dedication, and commitment to serving LaSalle will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with Bob’s family during this difficult time.”
