The LaSalle Fire Service is teaming up with the National Fire Protection Association® —the official sponsor of Fire Prevention Week for more than 100 years—to promote this year’s FPW campaign, “Smoke alarms: Make them work for you!”  The campaign works to educate everyone about the importance of having working smoke alarms in the home.

The LaSalle Fire Service offered a series of initiatives to support this year’s Fire Prevention Week campaign. These events will include a door-to-door smoke alarm campaign targeting select neighborhoods, as well as fire safety education programs in partnership with local schools including this class at Legacy Oak Trail Public School.
