Meet the Host Team for the 2025 OHF U13 Championships: the Belle River Canadiens

Excellence isn’t just a goal for the Belle River Canadiens — it’s their standard. And their record speaks for itself.

The Belle River Canadiens have been announced as the host team for the 2025 Ontario Hockey Federation U13A championships, a prestigious tournament that will showcase some of the best young hockey talent in the province. With a reputation for excellence and a roster filled with returning players, the Canadiens are poised to make a strong showing on home ice.

This season, the Canadiens boast a 19-3-3 record and are ranked No. 3 in Ontario. Building on last year’s impressive 45-8-8-1 finish, which also earned them the No. 3 spot in the province’s A Centre category, the team has already captured two tournament championships this season. With 15 of 17 players returning from last year’s squad, the Canadiens are determined to continue their success, bringing pride to their community as they aim for the championship title.

2024–25 (to date): 19-3-3 (ranked No. 3 in Ontario)

2023–24: 45-8-8-1 (ranked No. 3 in Ontario’s A Centre category)

This year’s squad is loaded with talent, with 15 of 17 players returning from last season. Their hard work has already paid off, earning them two tournament championships this season, adding to last year’s two tournament wins and a Bluewater title.
