The Town of LaSalle, in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 594, hosted residents, veterans and dignitaries from across the region on Remembrance Day at LaSalle Cenotaph Park to honour our Veterans who have fallen, and those who continue to serve Canada today.

“I want to take a moment to acknowledge the importance of this week, a time when communities across Canada pause to remember. Remembrance Day is more than a date on the calendar, it’s a reminder of the immense cost of the freedoms we enjoy: the freedom to speak, to serve, and to shape the future of our community together. Those who served did so not for recognition, but for the hope that future generations could live in peace,” said LaSalle mayor Crystal Meloche in a news release. “I want to thank everyone who joined us for our annual LaSalle Remembrance Day Ceremony.”
