The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating the theft of a valuable historical artifact from a property in the 12000 block of Tecumseh Road. The incident occurred sometime between November 6 and 8.
The stolen item is a cross with deep historical significance, originally from Ste. Anne’s Church – dating back to 1891.
Police urge anyone with information about the theft, the current location of the cross, or who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area, to contact Tecumseh OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
