Caesars Windsor and Unifor Local 444 are set to begin contract talks this Friday.
The casino has not operated at full capacity since mid-March 2020.
With many employees off the job due to COVID-19 restrictions, most are no longer eligible for financial assistance from the government.
The current contract is set to expire on April 2. Unifor represents approximately 2,200 casino workers.
