Lakeshore to host free Friday night Summer Parks Concert Series

Lakeshore News Reporter

The Municipality of Lakeshore is excited to launch the Summer Parks Concert Series, a brand-new slate of weekly events coming to Lakeshore parks on Friday nights all summer.

Starting Friday, park visitors can expect family-friendly musical entertainment by talented performers from across the region. The best part? All events are free!

The series will kick-off at Lakeview Park on Friday, June 3 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with a performance by Midlife Jazz, a five-piece band playing jazz, pop, classic rock and blues.

“We’re happy to give our community members and visitors yet another reason to enjoy our beautiful parks,” said Lakeshore mayor Tom Bain. “This series will make for a summer full of family-friendly fun in parks and communities throughout Lakeshore.”

To make the most of the events, Lakeshore recommends that attendees bring their own chairs, blankets and insect repellent.

As a reminder, attendees are asked to follow park rules and regulations, as well as public health recommendations, while enjoying the events.
