Lakeshore citizens and local stakeholders are invited to attend an upcoming open house and submit their feedback online regarding a proposal to establish a gaming site for a Charitable Gaming Centre at 446 Advance Boulevard.
The proposal to locate the Power Play Gaming Centre, initiated by Community Gaming and Entertainment Group (CGEG), requires approval from both the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).
As part of that process, the Municipality is seeking public input on the gaming site. A summary of feedback will be considered by Council before deciding to support or oppose the proposal.
Members of the public are invited to the upcoming open houses:
- Virtual Open House(hosted on Microsoft Teams, no software installation needed)
Monday, September 12, 5 to 7 p.m.

Wednesday, September 14, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre, Renaud Room
447 Renaud Line Road, Belle River.
Submissions can also be made online through the Gaming Site & Gaming Centre Proposal Community Survey, which will be accepted until Monday, September 19 at 4:30 p.m.
