On October 29, members of the Lakeshore Detachment Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to a business in the 1100 block of County Road 22 in the Municipality of Lakeshore for the report of a break and enter in progress.
Officers arrived on scene and met with the complainant who had prevented a vehicle with a single occupant from leaving the property.
The OPP Canine Unit was dispatched to assist with a search of the property, a second person was located in a trailer located on the property
The two individuals were taken into custody without incident.
As a result of the investigation, a 55 year-old male and a 47 year-old female, both of Windsor, have been charged.

As this is an open-and-shut case because the thieves were caught red-handed, why aren’t they named in public. Past reports have named suspects that are only alleged to have committed a crime, but this is clearly these two criminals. Name them so the rest of our community knows who they are. They will likely get a slap on the wrist, so public shaming is the only detterant they will likely face!
