Lakeshore community members are invited to join in Remembrance Day ceremonies hosted by two local Royal Canadian Legion Branches on Friday, November 11.

Attendees are asked to gather 10 to 15 minutes before ceremonies begin at 10:45 a.m.
“These ceremonies are an opportunity to remember and thank the people who paid the ultimate price for our country,” said Lakeshore mayor Tom Bain. “On behalf of Lakeshore Council, we encourage everyone to attend these events and take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices of those who came before us. We will remember them. We would also like to thank the volunteers from Legions across the country who make these events possible.”
Municipality of Lakeshore offices will be closed on Friday, November 11 and return to regular business hours on Monday, November 14. The Atlas Tube Recreation Centre will remain open.
