Vehicle Collides With Building in Tecumseh

 On March 5 at approximately 9 p.m., members of the Tecumseh Detachment Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Tecumseh Fire Rescue Services and Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to Lesperance Road at Riverside Drive, Town of Tecumseh, for the report of a motor vehicle fire.

Investigation revealed a single vehicle lost control and struck a brick structure. The driver was able to exit the vehicle prior to it igniting on fire.

The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
