McHappy Day is here! The John Children’s Centre is the beneficiary of this year’s McHappy Day proceeds from the McDonald’s franchises in Windsor/Essex and Tilbury.
This years’ proceeds will support the John McGivney Children’s Centre (JMCC) and the Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario.
The John McGivney Children’s Centre invites everyone to stop by any of the 15 Windsor/Essex and Tilbury McDonald’s locations on Wednesday May 10th:

“We are so very grateful to Matt Tatomir and Jason Trussell, Owner/Operators of the Windsor Essex and Tilbury restaurants, and all of the McDonald’s staff,” said Ken Kapustiak, JMCC board president. “Our JMCC board members and staff are very excited to join with their restaurants to celebrate this special day, and participate alongside their crew. Like prior years, we hope our involvement gives a great boost to McDonald’s McHappy Day efforts!”
About McHappy Day
2023 marks the 46th McHappy Day in McDonald’s Canada’s since it started in 1977. It is the company’s longest running and best-known national fundraising event with more than 1,400 McDonald’s restaurants celebrating McHappy Day this year. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $70 million for Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada, the Ronald McDonald Houses and hundreds of other local children’s charities.
