Windsor Warlocks U15 lacrosse goalie Emma Mighton and her Team Ontario squad have returned victorious from Regina, SK after a thrilling 4-3 overtime victory on Saturday, Aug. 19 over rival British Columbia at the Canadian U15 Girls Box Lacrosse Championships. Emma’s Team Ontario squad, playing girls from coast-to-coast, finished the tournament with a 6-1-1 record to hoist the Rose Engemann Trophy, emblematic of the U15 national championship. Emma, who made 53 saves in the championship game, finished the tournament with a 1.91 goals-against average, a 3-0-1 record, and one shutout. Way to go Emma!
