The Town of LaSalle is set to host its third annual Last Call Before Fall festival on Friday, September 5 and Saturday, September 6, bringing together the region’s finest craft beverages, food trucks, and live entertainment for a waterfront celebration that’s quickly become a seasonal favourite.
To make the experience even more accessible, LaSalle Transit is offering a free shuttle service between the Vollmer Complex and the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing throughout both nights of the event.
The shuttle kicks off at 7:20 p.m. on Friday and 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, with the final return trip departing the Event Centre at 12:00 a.m. each night. Riders can catch the bus at the stop in front of the Vollmer Centre.
For those driving, limited parking is available via Bouffard Road, with overflow options at the nearby Riverdance building. Guests are encouraged to drop off passengers before parking to ease congestion.
Last Call Before Fall is a collaboration between the Town of LaSalle and Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island (TWEPI), featuring vendors from TWEPI’s Barrels, Bottles, and Brews Trail and the Essex Pelee Island Coast (EPIC) Wineries.
The event has previously earned recognition from Festivals and Events Ontario as Best New Event with a Budget of $100,000 or Less, and this year’s lineup promises to raise the bar even higher.
Saturday night tickets are already sold out, but limited tickets remain for Friday night at $25, available exclusively online. Admission is restricted to guests 19 and older, and attendees can purchase $2 drink tokens onsite to sample local brews, wines, and spirits.
Food trucks will be serving up a variety of regional favourites, including Mojos Rollin Taco, Oven 360, Sammy’s Q, and Whamburg.
The vendor list reads like a who’s who of Essex County’s beverage scene, including Copper Rose Distillers, Fat Lou Brew, FRANK Brewing Co., GL Heritage Brewing Company, Kingsville Brewery, Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery, Sweet Wheels (Mocktails), Top Dog Brewing Company, Viewpointe Estate Winery, Vivace Estate Winery, Windmill Ridge Craft Cider & Beer, and Wolfhead Distillery.
Entertainment will be a major draw, with Carson Janik headlining Friday night. The Tecumseh-born country rocker is known for his high-energy performances that blend gritty guitar riffs with heartfelt lyrics. Saturday’s headliner, Bigg Wiggle, will take the stage for one of their final performances before retiring at the end of 2025.
The band has been a staple in Essex County’s music scene for over three decades, known for their genre-spanning sets that keep crowds dancing from start to finish.
With a sold-out Saturday and Friday tickets going fast, organizers are urging attendees to plan ahead, use the free shuttle, and arrive early to enjoy everything Last Call Before Fall has to offer.
