Nobles sports teams have launched their fall seasons with impressive wins and strong teamwork across the board.

Junior Boys Volleyball

The junior boys volleyball team started with a promising 2-1 record, recently defeating UMEI on October 16. Their energy and determination set a positive tone for the season.

Senior Boys Volleyball

The senior boys volleyball team dominated their first five games. Highlights include a 3-0 win against Brennan on October 1, featuring powerful spikes and tenacious defense, and a close victory over St. Cécile, clinching the final set 29-27. The team’s unity and resilience have been keys to their success as they head into their final league game.

Junior Girls Basketball

The junior girls basketball team is showing tremendous growth and teamwork, notching a second win against Catholic Central on October 7, led by top scorer Lillian Ashton. Teammates Mai Linh and Brimley Gagnier also made strong contributions as the team continues to improve with every match.

Senior Girls Basketball

Undefeated so far, the senior girls basketball team boasts a 6-0 league record. On October 16, they edged out Erie Migration 42-41, with Julia Cooney scoring 24 points and Gabriella Draca adding 13, maintaining their perfect season.

Football

The Nobles football team remains unbeaten in league play, winning all five games. Their 29-12 victory over Riverside on October 9 was a season highlight, and anticipation is high for what’s next from this talented squad.

Golf

Led by captain Nash Raymond, the golf team finished in the top ten at the WECSSAA championships on October 1. Raymond advanced to compete at SWOSSAA on October 6, representing the Nobles with distinction.

Cross-country

The cross-country team competed at the “Thrill on the Hill” event on September 24, with notable performances from Nola Groot and Ephram Impens in the novice girls’ race and strong finishes from senior runners Gabrielle Draca and Ronnie Bondy. Coach Pernal praised the team’s effort and spirit in their season debut.

Tennis

Alex Bially and Nash Raymond captured the SWOSSAA boys’ doubles championship on October 15, staying undefeated and earning a trip to OFSAA in November—the school’s first SWOSSAA title since 2018. Earlier, the pair placed first at the pre-WECSSAA tournament, with other Nobles teams also finishing well.
