The holiday season officially sparkled to life in LaSalle as residents gathered at the Civic Centre for the annual Holiday Lights celebration.
The evening featured a festive countdown led by Mayor Crystal Meloche and members of LaSalle Council, culminating in the illumination of a towering 40‑foot walkthrough tree. The dazzling display drew cheers from the crowd and set the stage for Santa’s grand arrival, which delighted families and children alike.
The Holiday Lights will continue to brighten the Civic Centre grounds at 5950 Malden Road each evening from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., running through Jan. 4, 2026. Visitors can stroll among the glowing decorations, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and share in a community tradition that has become a highlight of the season.
The event, organized by the Town of LaSalle, reflects the community’s spirit of togetherness and celebration. With twinkling lights, holiday music, and the joy of Santa’s visit, the Civic Centre has once again transformed into a hub of seasonal magic.
