Hard copies of permit applications will no longer accepted by the Municipality of Lakeshore’s Building Division beginning Tues., April 19.
Instead, digital or scanned copies of applications will be submitted via email to Building@Lakeshore.ca.
The change is the next step in an ongoing effort to digitize applications, reduce processing times, and improve the experience of permit applicants.
A reminder that all prospective applicants should first review if their property is within the jurisdiction of the Essex Region Conservation Authority or the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority.
If required, a copy of the Conservation Authority’s project approval must be submitted along with the permit application to the Municipality of Lakeshore.
Fillable permit applications and more information about the process can be found online at: Lakeshore.ca/Permits.
